This tragedy in Bangladesh is terrible. It just goes to show
you that Americans aren’t the only ones who can become heroes. I think people
in America forget about the rest of the world. Either that or they think that
we’re the best, thus the only ones worth paying attention to. That is just not
true. We aren’t the best country in the world anymore and we have a lot of work
to do if we want to be again. But this is a tragedy that could have and should
have been completely avoided and it just shows that the big companies, such as
GAP and the other companies that were contracting with that factory, just don’t
give a shit. It’s terrible and I applaud the Bangladeshis who worked to find
survivors.
